The present disclosure relates to a method of connecting N converter cells (1- 4) of a first power converter (11a) with N converter cells (1'-4') of a second power converter (11b) to form a single chain of 2N converter cells (1-4, 1'-4'), wherein the method comprises connecting alternatingly the converter cells (1-4) of the first power converter (11a) with the converter cells (1'-4') of the second power converter (11b).
