Provided are an ultrasound diagnostic apparatus and an ultrasound diagnostic method, which can provide a user with an ultrasound image easy to recognize. The ultrasound diagnostic apparatus comprises: a probe; an ultrasound transmission unit for transmitting ultrasound waves to an object by using the probe; an ultrasound receiving unit for generating received signals based on reflected waves corresponding to the transmitted ultrasound waves; a bio-signal acquisition unit for acquiring bio-signals which are periodically generated; a data processing unit for acquiring first loop image data and second loop image data based on the received signals; and an image generation unit for generating combined data by combining the first loop image data and the second loop image data based on the bio-signals.
