PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection method of members as a connection method of a resin molding member including a fiber reinforcement material and the other member, capable of easily and firmly connecting without using connection parts such as adhesive, bolt, screw and self-pierce rivet.SOLUTION: A connection method of members includes: a step of preparing a mold 10 constituted of an upper die 1 and a lower die 2 forming a cavity 3, and including a recess 4 on a cavity surface; a step of storing a fiber reinforcement material 20 comprising a continuous fiber reinforcement material in the cavity 3 followed by filling a thermoplastic resin 30, and producing a resin molding composite member 60 constituted of a fiber-reinforced resin molding 40 forming from the fiber reinforcement material 20 and the thermoplastic resin 30, and a resin molding 50 integrally molded with the fiber-reinforced resin molding 40; and a step of penetrating the resin molding 50 into a penetration hole 70a of the other member 70, deforming by compression the resin molding 50, and connecting by caulking the other member 70 by the fiber-reinforced resin molding 40 and the resin molding 50.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
