PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which detection accuracy is deteriorated due to instability of the sheet attitude with moving-upward and downward of the sheets caused by the difference in basis weights of the sheets at the time of multi-feeding detection by an ultrasonic sensor.SOLUTION: In a sheet conveyance device provided with transmission means for transmitting an ultrasonic wave to a sheet and reception means of the ultrasonic wave, an interval of a conveyance path of the sheet is changed in accordance with sheet information on the conveyed sheets.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
