PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle door lock device with higher reliability.SOLUTION: A door lock device 20 has a guide plate 51, which supports a resin guide 50 and is fixed to a back door 10. A striker 21 enters and gets out of the resin guide. The door lock device 20 also has a latch 35 capable of undetachably engaging with the striker 21 entered the resin guide 50, and a base plate 31 and a sub base 32, which rotatably support the latch 35 and are fixed to the back door 10. The guide plate 51 has a pair of opposed walls 61,62, which face to each other across a space intersecting with a support shaft 33 of the latch 35, and a connection wall 63, which connects both opposed walls 61 and 62. The resin guide 50 is supported at a position surrounded by both opposed walls 61,62 and the connection wall 63. The base plate 31 has an engaging protrusion 72 corresponding to an engaging hole 71 formed on the connection wall 63 and is connected to the guide plate 51.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
