PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press die having a suspended cam mechanism for processing processed parts formed at a space and capable of improving workpiece material yield while making a die size compact.SOLUTION: The press die includes a lower blade 11 disposed in a lower die 1, a cam blade 21 inserted into the gap WS of a workpiece W to process a processed part W1 in cooperation with the lower blade, a passive cam 22 suspended from an upper die 3 to move back and forth in a direction different from a pressing direction, and a cam driver 23 for pressing the passive cam to advance the cam blade toward the lower blade. The upper die includes a holding member 4 for holding the passive cam to be vertically movable, and a pressing member 5 for pressing the holding member downward, and the lower die includes a fixing member 6 which abuts, when the cam blade is inserted into the gap of the workpiece, on the holder member to fix the holding member in position with respect to the lower die. The cam driver is held in the upper side above the workpiece and presses the passive cam following further lowering of the upper die from the position where the fixing member and the holding member abut on each other to advance the cam blade toward the lower die.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
