PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an authenticity certification system capable of certifying the authenticity of generated digital image data while securing fairness, credibility and reliability.SOLUTION: A digital camera 30a calculates a hash value for certification of digital image data, and transmits the hash value for certification to a server 31, and when requesting the certification of the authenticity of the digital image data to the server 31, transmits the digital image data as the target of authenticity certification to the server 31. The server 31 stores the hash value for certification transmitted from the digital camera 30a, and when the digital camera 30a requests the certification of the authenticity of the digital image data, calculates the hash value for collation of the digital image data as the target of authenticity certification, and compares the hash value for certification with the hash value for collation, and when those hash values are coincident, affirms the authenticity of the digital image data, and when those hash values are not coincident, denies the authenticity of the digital image data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
