Disclosed is an operation control method for a flexible display device, which is used for controlling a flexible display device and comprises the following steps: detecting an operation that is performed on the device by a user, wherein the operation comprises one or a combination of two or more of bending, folding, edge deformation and shape recovering; and analysing a characteristic value of the operation, and executing a corresponding system function when the characteristic value of the operation satisfies a preset condition.
