The present invention concerns a watertight case for a portable touchscreen electronic device, comprising a rigid shell (10), on which are defined openings (13, 14, 20, 21), which are covered with a layer of transparent material, in correspondence of the position occupied by the optical sensors of said electronic device, openings (15, 22, 27, 28), covered with one layer of non soundproofing material, in correspondence of the position occupied by microphones and by speakers of said device, openings (18), covered with one layer of thermally conductive material, and an opening for the insertion of the electronic device, to said opening being associated a locking mechanism, and keys (17, 24a, 24b, 25) for actuating corresponding keys of the electronic device, wherein said case characterised in that said shell comprises a lid (10a), a base (10b) and side walls tra said lid (10a) and said a base (10b), fixedly coupled together, with an opening on one of the smaller sides of said case, in correspondence of said opening being arranged a locking mechanism comprising a covering element (26) of said opening, wherein said covering element (26) is hinged to said case on a side of said opening and provided with a coupling mechanism on the opposite side of said opening. |
