PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress separation at a chafer end part to improve durability of a bead part.SOLUTION: A pneumatic tire includes: a bead core 4 embedded in a bead part 3; a carcass ply 5 folded back around and locked to the bead core; and a chafer 9 arranged so as to cover the carcass ply 5 around the bead core 4, in which a reinforcement cord is embedded. A rubber sheet 15 produced by using a wet master batch containing natural rubber and/or polyisoprene rubber, and carbon black is interposed between a folding-back part 5B of the carcass ply and an end part 9AE of the chafer overlapping with the folding-back part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
