PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silicon-containing aluminum alloy sheet having low raw material cost, excellent in producibility and excellent in formability, and a production method therefor.SOLUTION: There is provided the silicon-containing aluminum alloy sheet having a Si concentration distribution varying in a sheet thickness direction. A ratio between Si concentration at a sheet thickness diction position where Si concentration is maximum (Si) and average of Si concentration in the sheet thickness direction (Si), Si/Siis 1.0 to 1.3. In a production method for the silicon-containing aluminum alloy sheet, a sheet material is produced using vertical twin roll type continuous casting and then the sheet material is cold rolled with a draft of 50% or more and an annealing treatment is performed on the cold rolled sheet material in the range of 350 to 550°C.SELECTED DRAWING: None
