PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous ink having the large number of times capable of being discharged and capable of recording high quality images at high speed.SOLUTION: There is provided an aqueous ink used for an inkjet recording method for recording images on image media by discharging an ink from an inkjet type recording head with effects of heat energy. It contains self dispersion pigment, glycerin and a salt of at least one of phosphate and pyrophosphate and the content of the salt (ppm) is 1000 ppm to 8000 ppm based on the total ink mass.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
