PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary screen printer which can suppress occurrence of printing failure.SOLUTION: A rotary screen printer is equipped with: a screen cylinder 201A which is formed in a cylindrical shape; a squeegee 221 which is inserted into a hollow part of the screen cylinder 201A; an end ring 201B, a bearing component 202, a screen bracket 203 and a sub frame 204 which rotatably support the screen cylinder 201A, and so holds the screen cylinder 201A that the screen cylinder is movable so as to contact and is separated from a printing object; and a squeegee attachment and detachment motor 224A which so moves the squeegee 221 as to contact and is separated from an inner peripheral surface of the screen cylinder 201A. In the rotary screen printer, a controller 300, which controls the squeegee attachment and detachment motor 224A so that a travel speed of the squeegee 221 at the time when the squeegee is brought into contact with the screen cylinder 201A contacting the printing object is gradually reduced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
