PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanical joint that allows an axial direction of reinforcing bars to be aligned readily.SOLUTION: A mechanical joint includes a pair of screw shafts friction-welded to each of two reinforcing bars respectively, a positioning pin that aligns a shaft direction of the pair of screw shafts, and a connecting nut for connecting the pair of screw shafts. Each of the screw shafts includes a screw shaft body having an end friction-welded to an edge surface of the reinforcing bar, a male screw part formed on an outer peripheral surface of the screw shaft body and screwed on the connecting nut, and a pin hole formed at a center of the other end of the screw shaft body and having one side of both sides of the positioning pin fitted therethrough.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
