PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nozzle plate including a discharge port which suppresses deformation of a discharge port shape and can stabilize liquid discharge performance.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a nozzle plate provided with a discharge port for discharging a liquid includes: a process of arranging a metal plate 8 having a first surface 1 with first surface roughness Ra, and a second surface 2, as a rear surface of the first surface 1, with surface roughness Ralower than the first surface roughness Ra; a press working process of pressing from the second surface 2 toward the first surface 1 and forming a hollow protrusion part 4 on the first surface 1; and a polishing process of polishing a top part of the protrusion part 4 and opening a through hole 5 on the metal plate 8 to form the discharge port 6.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
