PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine which enables easy engine start and inhibits deterioration of the operability caused by enlargement and weight increase of a device driven by engine output, to provide a cell starter unit and an engine specification change method.SOLUTION: An engine includes: a starter motor attached to an engine body and configured to perform cranking of a crank shaft; and a battery pack 37 attached to the engine body and including a lithium battery configured to supply electric power for driving the starter motor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
