PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing device that manages a schedule of timing for sheet feeding and timing for sheet refeeding at the time during duplex printing, which is improved in convenience to a user and reduced in deterioration in productivity of printed matters.SOLUTION: A control portion 8 performs control so that sheet feeding by a sheet feeding portion 2 and sheet refeeding by a sheet refeeding portion 5 are performed based on a sheet feeding schedule which stipulates timing for sheet feeding by the sheet feeding portion 2 and timing for sheet refeeding by the sheet refeeding portion 5 so that sheets to be refed from the sheet refeeding portion 5 and sheets to be fed from the sheet feeding portion 2 are alternately conveyed to a printing portion. The control portion 8 performs control so that when feeding the second and succeeding sheets, if the sheets are idly fed, the sheet feeding is retried at the next timing for sheet feeding in the sheet feeding schedule.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
