PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a balloon catheter which is excellent in pushability when inserted into a blood vessel, can reliably prevent kink of an outer shaft at a rear end side from a formation position of a guide wire port, and can be smoothly inserted into a curved blood vessel.SOLUTION: A balloon catheter comprises: an outer shaft 10 made of a resin tube, a balloon 30, a hub 60, an inner tube 40, and a core wire 50. The core wire 50 is fastened to an inner peripheral surface of the outer shaft 10 on a rear end side of a formation position of a guide wire port at a rear end side of a straight part 51, and is press-fitted between the inner peripheral surface of the outer shaft 10 and an outer peripheral surface of the inner tube 40 at a tip side of the straight part 51.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
