PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power storage device that is able to prevent a separator from being torn by foreign matter.SOLUTION: A secondary battery 10 comprises an electrode assembly 14 in which a cathode electrode 21 and an anode electrode 24 are stacked in layers with a first separator 27 or second separator 28 between them. Load is applied to the electrode assembly 14 from outside in the direction of stack. The second separator 28 is arranged on the surface layer side in the direction of stack of the electrode assembly 14 further from the first separator 27. The elongation percentage of the second separator 28 is higher than that of the first separator 27.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
