The present invention relates to a manufacturing apparatus of trans-1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol by reducing terephthalic acid and, more specifically, to a manufacturing apparatus of trans-1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol having high yield and purity while simplifying a process. The manufacturing apparatus of trans-1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol comprises: a reactor including an outlet unit; a preheater; and a collecting unit, wherein the reactor comprises: an upper portion reaction unit performing a reduction reaction of the terephthalic acid; and a lower portion reaction unit performing a reduction reaction of an output reduced from the upper portion reaction unit.
