PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press molding method and a press molding die which enable the suppression of a bend in the top plate part of a molded article.SOLUTION: This invention is related to a press molding method and a press molding die for obtaining and a molded article having a top plate part and a vertical wall part molded along the outer peripheral edge part of the top plate part. The die 11 comprises a plate holder 17 that holds a part of a portion corresponding to the top plate part of a blank 9 with the plate holder arranged away by a predetermined distance from a R stop of the outer peripheral edge part of the top plate part. The end part of the plate part has an extension part extending out of the tip of a horizontal plane with the whole of the extension part located inside a virtual circular arc curve surface of curvature radius r formed by inscribing the horizontal plane centered on a perpendicular line from the tip of the horizontal plane represented by an expression below, and a part or the whole of the extension part inscribing the circular arc curve surface. r<r≤15*r(r:curvature radius of the circular arc curve surface of the blank generated by holding the top plate part by using the plate holder with a pin corner)SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
