PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IC card which has excellent security property capable of simply identifying presence/absence of forgery and alteration of the IC card without using a card reader, and simply identifying presence/absence of the forgery and the alteration of the IC card even when electronic components in the IC card are broken.SOLUTION: In an IC card including at least: a card core layer which stores electronic components; a front base material layer provided on one surface of the card core layer; and an information recording layer provided on a front surface of the front base material layer, watermark patterns are printed on a surface opposite to the surface where the information recording layer is provided of the base material layer, and the watermark patterns are considered as approximately the same design pattern as all the IC cards though the watermark patterns slightly differ for every IC card.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
