PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generating plant capable of preventing the diffusion of seawater into the power generating plant without damaging a steam turbine when the seawater leaks in a condenser.SOLUTION: A power generating plant comprises: a steam generator 1; a turbine 3 driven by steam generated by the steam generator 1; a condenser 4 cooling the steam discharged from the turbine 3 by seawater to provide condensate water; a condensate water pipe 35 supplying the condensate water from the condenser 4 to the steam generator 1; seawater leakage detectors 5d and 5e provided in the condensate water pipe 35 and detecting the leakage of the seawater in the condenser 4; an attemperator spray 16 which is connected to the condensate water pipe 35, to which the condensate water is supplied from a connection point 40 of the condensate pipe 35 and spraying the condensate water to the steam in the condenser 4; and a pipe 13 branched off from the condensate water pipe 35 and supplying the condensate water to the steam generator 1. When the seawater leakage detectors 5d and 5e detect the leakage of the seawater in the condenser 4, the flow of the condensate water from the connection point 40 to the steam generator 1 and the flow of the condensate water to the pipe 13 branched off from the condensate water pipe 35 are stopped.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
