PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform maintenance appropriately of a plurality of inkjet heads even when performing maintenance operation to all of the inkjet heads using common maintenance means.SOLUTION: Determination means 21 determines whether or not a recommended period for using an ink cartridge 150 elapses, on the basis of the date of production or a use start date memorized in a memory 153, a normal period for consumption memorized in a memory 11 and a period of time having elapsed after the date of production or the use start date of the ink cartridge 150. Maintenance setting value deciding means 22, when the determining means 21 determines that the recommended period has elapsed, reads out cycles and intensity of maintenance operation for every ink from the memory 153, selects the shortest cycle and the strongest intensity, and decides the cycle and the intensity as the maintenance setting values. Control means 23 causes a pressure adjustor 105 and a pressure adjustment driving portion 106 to execute purge operation, on the basis of the decided maintenance setting values.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
