The present invention relates to an ice maker and a refrigerator with the same. The ice maker includes: an ice tray wherein water for ice making; an ice bank arranged in the lower side of the ice tray and receiving produced ice; and a control unit controlling a water supply to the ice tray to allow the ice bank to fully receive ice through multiple times of ice making. The control unit is reset to recover errors in the control unit when water is not supplied to the ice tray for a predetermined time before the ice bank is not full of ice. The purpose of the present invention is to provide an ice maker capable of autonomously recovering errors when the errors are caused by unknown factors and a refrigerator with the ice maker.
