PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deleting device, a deleting method in a deleting device, and an image forming apparatus capable of grasping a use situation for each user without mistakenly deleting other person's sheet.SOLUTION: A deleting device comprises: a sheet conveyance path that conveys a sheet; a reading unit that reads an image on the sheet; a deleting unit that is provided on downstream in a sheet conveyance direction of the reading unit, and deletes the image on the sheet; and a control unit that causes the deleting unit to delete the image on the sheet when input authentication information coincides with authentication information read out by searching an authentication table that stores the authentication information for each of IDs uniquely allocated to users on the basis of the input IDs.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
