PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique on image processing of image data.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus receives image data recorded in a description language for printing from an application module, performs image processing, and outputs the data to a printing device. The image processing apparatus includes: an input section for inputting the image data of a printing object image expressed by using special gloss from the application module; a drawing data conversion section for interpreting the image data by following the description language and converting the image data into drawing data consisting of a set of one or a plurality of objects; and a texture control section for controlling a texture of the printing object image in an adjustable manner and outputting the data in a form of printing data where the printing device can interpret by controlling the drawing data for every object.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
