PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resolve a problem that when display is displayed on a display device, if a difference between a color of display and a color of a background is large, trimming becomes unnecessary display and makes it harder for a driver to discern the display.SOLUTION: An onboard display control unit includes a background color acquirer 16 that acquires a first color from a detector 6 which detects the first color of a background of display to be displayed on a display device 9, a display information acquirer 17a that acquires display information used to display on the display device 9 using the second color, a necessity decider 18 that decides based on the first and second colors whether trimming to be displayed in a third color on the display device 9 whether trimming is needed, and a display controller 20 that controls the display device 9 on the basis of a decision made by the necessity decider 18.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
