PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer, a control method thereof, and a control program capable of providing a density equivalent to or greater than the one acquired when the same printing processing is repeated twice or more, without affecting resolution and gradation expression.SOLUTION: A printer comprises a thermal head 310 performing a thermal transfer, and prints images by transferring ink onto a print sheet using the thermal head according to multi-valued print data. When printing images according to the print data by transferring the same color ink onto the print sheet superposing a plurality of times, MPU 319 performs printing while changing the maximum number of heating times per dot depending on the number of ink transfer times.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
