PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an artificial nail capable of reducing labor required for the formation and maintenance of an image, and an artificial nail.SOLUTION: An artificial nail 3 includes: a first reception part capable of receiving electric power and image data by short-range radio communication; a display layer 6 that is made of electronic paper formed in a nail shape; and a control layer 5 that is driven by the received electric power and that controls the electronic paper 6 to display an image based on the received image data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
