PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an epoxy resin composition having enhanced resin elongation and heat resistance and a fiber reinforced composite material excellent in tensile strength, compressive strength and interlaminar toughness using the epoxy resin composition.SOLUTION: There is provided an epoxy resin composition consisting of at least the following constituent elements [A], [B] and [C] and having a ratio of molar number of active hydrogen contained in [C] to a molar number of an epoxy group contained in the whole epoxy resin composition (H/E) of 1.1≤H/E≤1.6 as well as bending flexure amount of 6.0 mm or more in a cured article by curing the epoxy resin composition and having DSC hardness of 90% or more and glass transition temperature X (°C) and rubber status elastic modulus Y (MPa) obtained by DMA (dynamic mechanical analysis) of the cured article satisfying the following formula (1). 0.19X/°C-31.5≤Y/MPa≤0.19X/°C-27 (1).
