PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting device with sealing reliability by a simple method at low cost.SOLUTION: In a light-emitting device, a support substrate 1 forming an organic EL element is pasted to a sealing substrate 11 which seals the organic EL element, via a sealant 21 formed at a position surrounding the organic EL element. The support substrate 1 and the sealing substrate 11 are both flexible base materials. The space surrounded by the support substrate 1, the sealing substrate 11, and the sealant 21 is filled with a hygroscopic resin 22. The sealing substrate 11 has a spacer 12 for keeping a gap between the support substrate 1 and the sealing substrate 11 constant, in the space. The spacer 12 is made from the same member as the hygroscopic resin 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
