PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminated polarizing plate that can be made thinner and achieve superior viewing angle characteristics.SOLUTION: A laminated polarizing plate 11 includes a polarizer 12, a first optical anisotropic layer 13, and a second optical anisotropic layer 14. The first optical anisotropic layer 13 is formed of a film comprising an organic polymer and at least one type of dichroic dye.
