A continuous pass-type radiation scanning system. The system comprises a radiation source (101), a collimator, a radiation detector array (102), an imaging device, a first detection unit (105), a second detection unit (108) and a control module (103). The first detection unit (105) is used for detecting whether a target object reaches a predetermined position that is located upstream of a scanning region and apart from the upstream boundary of the scanning region (104) by a first length L1, wherein the scanning region (104) is a region covered by radiation source rays in a detection passage. The second detection unit (108) is used for detecting whether a part required to be scanned by low-dosage rate rays in the target object already leaves the scanning region (104) and a part required to be scanned by high-dosage rate rays in the target object is about to enter the scanning region (104). The control module (103) is used for receiving signals from the detection units (105, 108) and controlling the radiation source (101) according to the signals. By means of the solution, a large number of to-be-detected vehicles can continuously and rapidly pass through the detection passage to finish the radiation scanning examination. |
