In order to perform appropriate white balance correction processing tailored to circumstances on a long-exposure image and a short-exposure image, which are captured in a variously changing lighting environment, in a vehicle-mounted camera system, a vehicle-mounted camera system (100) is provided with: a vehicle-mounted camera (10) that performs long-exposure imaging with a relatively long exposure time and short-exposure imaging with a relatively short exposure time; a signal processing unit (20) (signal processing device) that performs white balance correction processing on each of a long-exposure image and a short-exposure image, and thereafter synthesizes both the images to generate a high dynamic range image; and a system control unit (40) (processing switching device) that acquires a lighting environment in which a vehicle is placed, and according to the lighting environment, switches between the white balance correction processing for the long-exposure image and the white balance correction processing for the short-exposure image. |
