This power storage battery (10) is provided with: a secondary battery (20); a housing (50) which accommodates the secondary battery and comprises a first and second battery case (51, 61), wherein flanges (53, 63) of the battery cases are fixed together; a sealing member (R1); and a fastener for coupling the flanges which has a biasing member (92) and by which a portion of the flanges is fixed. In a fastened state, the fastener presses one of the flanges towards the other of the flanges with a prescribed biasing force, and the fastener is such that the flanges separate when a prescribed or greater force is applied to move the flanges away from each other. |
