An imaging device is provided with: an imaging unit which is provided with a rolling shutter type imaging sensor unit; a condition designation unit which sets, as imaging conditions of the imaging unit, an imaging condition using first fill light that is invisible light, and an imaging condition using visible light with the first fill light as non-emission light, and which switches and designates the imaging conditions and a light emission condition for the first fill light in a time-division manner at intervals of at least two frames; a first light emission unit which emits the first fill light in accordance with the light emission condition; and an image synthesis unit which synthesizes an invisible light image captured under the imaging condition using the first fill light in a first period when the first fill light is emitted, and a visible light image captured under the imaging condition using the visible light in a second period following the first period.
