PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device capable of improving display quality, and a substrate for a display device.SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display comprises: a semiconductor layer; a first insulating film covering the semiconductor layer; a gate wiring extending in a first direction on the first insulating film and crossing the semiconductor layer; a second insulating film covering the gate wiring; a first common electrode formed on the second insulating film; a third insulating film covering the first common electrode; a source wiring extending in a second direction crossing the first direction on the third insulating film and contacting with the semiconductor layer via a first contact hole penetrating the first to third insulating films; and a fourth insulating film covering the source wiring and having a film thickness thicker than the third insulating film.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
