PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery protection circuit which is adaptable to a plurality of different protection properties in a common circuit configuration, a battery protection device, a battery pack and a battery protection IC.SOLUTION: The battery protection circuit or the battery protection IC which protects a secondary battery without including a CPU is disclosed, and the battery protection circuit or the battery protection IC comprises: a nonvolatile memory in which property data determining the protection properties of the battery protection circuit or the battery protection IC are writable; and a protection operation circuit which performs a protection operation of the secondary battery on the basis of the property data read out of the nonvolatile memory. Further, the battery protection device is disclosed which comprises the battery protection circuit, a charge path cutoff part capable of cutting off a charge path of the secondary battery, and a discharge path cut-off part capable of cutting off a discharge path of the secondary battery. A battery pack including the battery protection device and the secondary battery is also disclosed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
