PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve easy to disassemble and assemble in replacement of a valve element and improved in maintainability.SOLUTION: A valve 1 comprises: a valve body 2 formed with a fluid passage and provided with a valve seat 2D; a valve stem 4 provided to be capable of approaching and separating movement to the valve seat; a valve element 12 sitting on and separating from the valve seat 2D to open and close the fluid passage; and a valve element hold section 11 having an installation part 11A, that is installed to a pressing part 4A of the valve stem 4 and is formed with an opening 11f opened toward a direction orthogonal to the axis of the valve stem 4, and a hold part 11B that is connected to the valve seat 2D side of the installation part 11A and holds the valve element 12.
