PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically set a path whose transmission delay is small in a multi-layer network.SOLUTION: In a multi-layer network in which a signaling message is transmitted between a first node and a second node, a transmission device arranged between the first node and the second node includes a signaling processing part. The signaling processing part is configured to, when node information is not applied to a message received from a downstream-side adjacent node, and a lower layer switch is connected to a lower layer switch of an upstream-side adjacent node, apply the node information indicating an own node to the message, and to transmit the message to the upstream-side adjacent node, and to, when the node information is applied to the message received from the downstream-side adjacent node, and the lower layer switch is not connected to the lower layer switch of the upstream-side adjacent node, transmit a message for setting a path of the lower layer to a node indicated by the node information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
