1. A system for generating multi-directional pictures, the system implemented at least in part on one or more computing devices, the system comprising:
one or more processor circuits coupled to a memory unit; a picture-taking device, coupled to the one or more processor circuits, for capturing pictures; and an interface configured to: direct a user to capture, using the picture-taking device, one or more pictures from a first location of a represented object, and direct the user to capture, using the picture-taking device, one or more pictures from a second location of the represented object, wherein the one or more processor circuits are configured to: generate a first multi-directional picture associated with the first location and including the one or more pictures from the first location, generate a second multi-directional picture associated with the second location and including the one or more pictures from the second location, add a link with the second multi-directional picture to the first multi-directional picture, the first multi-directional picture including one or more links, add a link with the first multi-directional picture to the second multi-directional picture, the second multi-directional picture including one or more links, and cause the memory unit to store the first and the second multi-directional pictures, wherein the first and the second multi-directional pictures are part of a plurality of multi-directional pictures depicting the represented object. |
