A backlight source and a manufacturing method therefor, and a liquid crystal display. The backlight source (100) comprises a printed circuit board (11) and a line light source (12) arranged on a side of the printed circuit board (11). The line light source (12) comprises an integral module comprising a plurality of point light sources (13) arranged in the same plane. The method comprises: step I, providing a packaging groove body (14) and packaging the point light sources (13) in the packaging groove body (14) such that the point light sources are located in the same plane so as to form the line light source (12); and step II, fixedly arranging the line light source (12) on the side of the printed circuit board (11). The backlight source (100) ensures that the line light source (12) has good flatness, and therefore the light emitting effect of the backlight source (100) and the display effect of the liquid crystal display are improved. |
