The object of the invention, namely to provide a method for forming a fold (22) by means of roll folding, wherein a forming of waves in the fold flange can be reduced or avoided in a simple manner, is achieved with a method of this type wherein the rolling edge (10) of the roll folding head (8) is positioned and moves at least partially on the flange section (4) and at a distance from the edge (6) of the flange section (4). |
