PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brushless motor and an electric power tool that can suppress increase of iron loss occurring in a stator core while suppressing rotation of the stator core.SOLUTION: A brushless motor 10 has a stator core 11 having a cylindrical yoke portion 111, and a tooth portion 112 which is shaped to protrude from the inner peripheral surface of the yoke portion 111, the center axis of the yoke portion 111 being set as a rotational axis AR, and a rotor 12 which is disposed to be spaced from the tooth portion 112 in the stator core 11. The yoke portion 111 has a cut-out portion 111a at the back side of the tooth portion 112 out of the outer peripheral surface of the yoke portion 111, and the width W111a of the cut-out portion 111a in the peripheral direction is smaller than the width W112 of the tooth portion 112 in the peripheral direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
