PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to transport a cap without damaging while reducing an installation area of the whole of a cap feeder and to achieve efficient transportation of a cap without stopping transfer of the cap.SOLUTION: A cap feeder 10 is equipped with: a cap alignment apparatus 12 which aligns direction of caps; a cap sterilization device 19 at a position higher than the cap alignment apparatus 12; and cap transfer means which transports a cap from the cap alignment apparatus 12 to the cap sterilization device 19. The cap transfer means is equipped with: a first air conveyor 13 which receives a cap from the cap alignment apparatus 12 and transports the cap in a horizontal direction; an elevation conveyor 15 which is connected to the first air conveyor 13 via a supply wheel 30 and transports caps upwards while holding the caps which are separated from one another by the supply wheel 30; and a second air conveyor 16 which receives a cap from the elevation conveyor 15 and transports the cap in a horizontal direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
