摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical compensation element adjustment mechanism capable of highly accurately adjusting the inclination of an optical compensation element and to provide a projector.SOLUTION: An optical compensation device 5 includes an optical compensation element 51 which optically compensates a liquid crystal panel 353 and an adjustment frame 52 which adjusts the angle of the optical compensation element 51 with respect to a liquid crystal panel 353. The adjustment frame 52 includes a substantially rectangular holding part 521 which holds the optical compensation element 51, a pair of stationary parts 522 each which is extended from the diagonal position of the holding part 521 in a direction crossing the holding part 521 and is fixed to a first holding member 41 to which the holding frame 52 is attached, and an adjustment part 523 which is arranged in a position away from a pair of stationary parts 522 and inclines the holding part 521 around a virtual line connecting a pair of stationary parts 522, to incline the optical compensation element 51.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
