PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting device capable of stable installation when installed as a side-view light emitting device.SOLUTION: A light emitting device 100 comprises: a semiconductor laminate 10; a p-side conductor 12 and an n-side conductor 14 which are electrically connected to a p-type semiconductor and an n-type semiconductor layer, respectively on one principal surface side of the semiconductor laminate 10; and a resin layer 16. The resin layer 16 has a top surface and an under surface and the other principal surface of the semiconductor laminate 10 is exposed on the under surface. The p-side conductor 12 has p-side external connection electrodes 12a, 12b and a p-side conductive member 12c for electrically connecting the p-side external connection electrodes 12a, 12b with each other. The n-side conductor 14 has n-side external connection electrodes 14a, 14b and an n-side conductive member 14c for electrically connecting the n-side external connection electrodes 14a, 14b with each other. Both of the p-side external connection electrodes 12a, 12b and the n-side external connection electrodes 14a, 14b are partially located outside the semiconductor laminate 10 in plan view.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
