The method involves computing an intermediate security code from corresponding intermediate datum and transmitting intermediate security code and intermediate datum to computing element by data processing module (12A). The security code is computed from intermediate security codes by computing element. The intermediate datum is selected from received intermediate data, and the output datum of computer including the selected intermediate datum is provided. The security code and output datum are transmitted to receiving device with computing element.
