According to the present invention, a method to manufacture a cutter ring for a disk cutter comprises: a can preparation step of preparing a cylindrical can used as a forming container in a hot isostatic pressing process, and having a bottom plate and a lateral wall extended upward from the bottom plate; an inner member preparing step of preparing an inner member having a hollow cylindrical shape, which can be received into the can; an inner member installing step of installing the inner member in a manner where the outer circumferential surface of the inner member is positioned opposite to the lateral wall of the can in the inner space of the can; a cemented carbide powder filling step of filling the space formed between the outer circumferential surface of the inner member and the lateral wall of the can with cemented carbide powder; and a sintering step of inserting the can filled with the cemented carbide powder into a hot isostatic pressure treating device to perform hot isostatic pressing. The lateral wall of the can includes a ring-shaped protruding part which becomes thinner towards the outer circumference.
